My origin story began in Florence, in the middle of divorce where I discovered shame hidden within my own art. In the blank space of a sketchbook drawing, I saw how shame had silently shaped what I allowed myself to see. What started as an experiment to draw 100 naked men became a radical journey of confronting taboo, reclaiming desire, and giving myself permission to look fully and unapologetically. Time and time again I discovered how shame shows up in unexpected places — and how turning toward what I avoided ignited creativity, courage, and transformation. The Naked Man Oracle was born out of these drawings, and this desire - to dissolve shame around our sexuality, and our bodies, in order to live the fullest expression of ourselves.

What my collectors are saying..
"Michelle, your paintings make me seriously happy! and add a rich dimension to my life." SL London
"What I love about Fierce Transition is that it throbs with life, exploding with colour and form. After the shock of first seeing it, gradually it reveals more: more depth, more relationships, more colours. You feel the courage in the juxtaposition of tones and shades.
For me Fierce Transition is resonant of being at the edge of a tropical forest in all its exuberance, apparent chaos, and variety of living things.
Whenever I see [Fierce Transition] I feel more alive". William Eccles, London
