Inside Listening to Nina Simone, Open Edition Giclée Fine Art Print. This series was painted outdoors, but on this day, the weather was bad - rain and oil paint don't mix, so I stayed in my studio listening to Nina Simone. The music was my inspiration that day, the colour juxtapositions and painterly gestures, speak to the rhythms of her music, merging with the form of the oak tree.
Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper, using Giclée Print process, the sizes are the finished paper size, with a 3 cm white border around the image and embossed signature.
