Peach Road To Fishguard
Original art, vibrant semi abstract painting. Working from local landscapes, and painting plein air, I captured the vistas that caught my attention as I drove through our local lanes. The Scots pines were planted originally in Pembrokeshire as markers for the drovers, with differing numbers of trees signifying accommodation, for people, and animals and food available. I was captivated by these stories as I saw how the Scots pines stood out against the horizon lines where I live, and connected with traditions from earlier times.
